From cask at Bacchus, Newcastle, with OGJ on trip to 24 Northern counties 05.01.18. Clear golden. Dense white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, lemon & lime marmalade, oranges and fruit. Medium bitterness.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy golden colour. Thin, but lasting, sticky, white head. Sets off sweet, along the lines of tinned pears. Some tropical fruit. Hint of vegetable water, but not necessarily to any detriment. Taste sets off sweet, too, but settles down with a dry, light mineral bitterness. Slightly chewy palate. Some big tastes, for the ABV. Not sure they’re all to my liking, mind. Lots of bang to the buck.

Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is minerally crisp. Light semi sweet malt. Nice hops - fresh orange, mild orange pith. That now obvious Mosaic tropical twang, not as obvious Passion Fruit as some Mosaic beers, but it is here. Subtle mango before a light crisp finish. Good stuff.
