This rich, complex beer is brewed with British Fuggles and Goldings hops and has all the earthy, peppery notes of a classic IPA. The hoppy notes of this beer work wonderfully with Indian spices, so it's great with curries.

Bottle from MaS. Aroma biscuity malty, some metallic, not very intense hops. Clear copper colour. Taste is moderately bitter with long dry finish. Floral earthy English hops, solid malty base with caramel. Not so metallic as aroma. Overall good.

Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Bicester, consumed at home Sunday 5th July 2015 Clear as yer like and a nice amber colour. A touch of toffee on the nose, soft in the mouth, There are hops but they seem British (just checked bottle and my suspicions are confirmed) so I am getting an earthiness with a bitterness built on a toffee/caramel base. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
