Bottle courtesy of SimonTomlinson via the RB EU 2019-3 trade. A Cheshire tick. Amber with a frothy to creamy white head. Fruity aroma—mostly apple—with cereal underneath. Taste is very mildly bitter with some green apple tartness playing out at the end. Medium to light bodied. Simple but nice.

Bottle. Clear golden/amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of wood and dried fruit. Flavour of marzipan, rusted metal and lightly roasted malt. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Quite sharp but overall it’s ok.

Cask @ the Cholmondeley Arms, Cheshire with my Belgian father-in-law. Pours a deep amber with thin bubbly head. Dusty glass. Light fruity hop aroma with a thin, mediocre bitter taste. Rather boring.
