Cask @ Grove, Huddersfield. Dark-red with a small off-white head. There’s a light sweetness to its dark malts, all of which are fairly unexciting.

Cask at PoW, Aberdeen. It pours deep red-brown with a small beige head. The nose is rich, malt-driven, fruit cake, raisin, glazier cherry, vinous, wood and earth. The rich, bitter, earth, leather, spice, rich malts, dark fruits, cocoa, fruit cake, toasty, toffee, leather, wood and light warming alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good depth of flavour. Nice winter warmer.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear amber, thick off-white head. Aromas of light winter spices, dried orange peel and toffee. Taste has more of the same. Lovely winter warmer.

6abv cask at the malt and hops... Deep brown.. Thin tan head... Soft sweet toffee malt nose... Juicy fruity malts... Nice soft rounded... Very 80 shilling but higher abv, not that youd notice... Light malty spice in linger

On cask at the Caley Sample Room. Appearance - beautiful. Chestnut with red chinks. Nose - spice and stewed apple. Taste - lightly sautéed apple. Light Indian spice. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - you’ve done it again Rob.
