The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

Clear golden with a white head. Malty, light fruits, and some grassy, hoppy notes int he aroma. Bubbly mouth. Flavor is much like the aroma. Really not much in the way of flavor, this one seems like Cricket Hill’s shot at BMC. Decent.

Bottle. Pours clear, light gold. Light malt aroma, some cracker and caramel. Sweet flavor, with more caramel, biscuit and some nice floral, grassy bitters to finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nothing to complain about here.

Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Thanks John. Pours clear deep gold with white head. The aroma is solid for the style with ample amounts of floral and spice hop notes to go along with a malty sweet backbone. The taste has up front spicy, floral and lemon like hop bitterness that refreshes and gets your attention. It then smooths out and thins out to midway. As the finish approaches notes of sweet malts and touch of lightly roasted malts round things out. The hops persist into the after taste. If I were to have a refreshing lager on a hot day this would be a nice choice.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Thanks John! Pours a golden color with a thin head. Aroma of grain, corn and grass. Sweet, fruity taste... pineapple, and grass. Some graininess. Medium bodied.

Slightly pale golden coloured body with a medium sized dense white head. Aroma of cardboard, light skunks, some fresh hops and a stale lemon scent. Light-bodied; Sharp taste of fresh hops along with some nice pale malt. Aftertaste showcases the bitter hops along with a faint sweetness, mainly from the citrus. Overall, a nice lager that would be great in the summertime, but I’m sampling this thing near the beginning of Winter. Good to try if you can find it! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 28-November-2005.
