On tap at the brewery. pours standard stout color with thin head. tastes creamy, dry roasted malt, vanilla, cocoa powder, cofee and slight butter. a tad thin for a stout

A deep dark brown stout with a thick brown nitro head. In aroma, a pleasant coffee aroma with chocolate notes. in mouth, a nice grainy chocolate malt with chocolate malt ball, nice and powdery, light coffee grinds, classy offering. On tap at brewpub, May 23 2010.

Draft @ the brewpub during RBWG weekend. Pours black with creamy tan head. Roasty malt aroma. Flavors of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Slightly thin body with creamy mouthfeel.

draft @ Dunedin. pours dark brown with nice beige head. Aroma of good roasted malts, with hints of coffee. Taste, smooth, thick, malty, some chocolate malts with lingering coffee. Simple yet loaded with good character. Do get some of the hops, though the profile remains filled with good roast / malts and some coffee in teh finish.

Near black. Smells like...well... a nitro stout. Tart, black malt notes on the palate. Kind of thin underneath of that. A little bit peanutty. Meh.

Draft @ Redlight. Black nitro’d cascading head. Nice roastiness in the nose, and then lots of chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Dry thinning finish, typical nitro body. But at least there’s some flavor in there.

on nitro-pours a retaining light tan head that laces and black color. Aroma is dark malt-cocoa powder, peat, roasty, secondary acidic hops. Taste is dark malt-chocolate, peat, roasty, faint acidic hops. Minimum carbonation.
