Tap at Meibockfestival, Amsterdam. Golden coloured brew with an well balanced bitersweet taste, and fine foamy head.

Sampled from tap at Meibockfestival Amsterdam 2016. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, creamy, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, butter and honey. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, butter, almond and honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Bottle at De La Gare. Pours cloudy amber with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, spice, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottled from Lekker Bier, BB10-09-14, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Hazy orange to amber color, medium off-white frothy head. Aroma of caramel, slight spicy yeast, bit grassy hop. Medium sweet in taste, slight bitter. Not as hop-forward or grainy as most other (Dutch) lentebocks, but much more malt-forward and even caramelly. Ok stuff, but not your typical lentebock.

33cl Bottle from Speciaalbierwinkel Bodegraven. ABV is 7%. Orange-amber colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, pear and sweet apples, yeast, sugar. Flavour is very sweet, fruity, pear, yeast, malts, sweet fruity finish. Light-bodied. Meh...

330ml bottle. Very hazy dark amber colour with average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally spicy yeasty aroma with a peppery touch. Taste is minimally sweet malty, a tart touch of lemon, hints of orange. Nice refreshing carbonation makes it light and very drinkable.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a murky medium amber with a thin white head and no lace. The aroma is yeasty with a little fresh malt in the background. The flavour is medium bitter and rather hoppy. In fact a lot more hoppy than I was expecting. There’s loads of malt on the smooth palate too, but the bitterness is short-lived. Quite a surprise this one and the best Lentebock i’ve tasted by far.

Aroma has somewhat soapy citrus and floral notes. Flavour is fruity and slightly sweet with citron and hints of spices. Refreshing.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy to creay, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, flowers, light to moderate yeasty, sugar, honey ? mazipan and bubble gum notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, spicy hops - yeast, malty, sugary, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
