Key keg at Pig’s Ear beer festival 2013, Hackney, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, lemon aroma. Tastes of lemon, spice, citrus. Pleasant enough saison.

On tap @ Haandfest 2013. A massive impressive head on this. White in color and lacing on the sides. The beer itself is cloudy and yellow golden in color. What an amazing aroma. Tons of citrus and fresh hops, really fresh and grassy with zest and hay. Lovely. And yeah, this is a tasty saison. A bi untypical perhaps, but fantastic flavorful. Above average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is soft oily. Again, really grassy fresh flavors. Tons of citrus, a little bit of cat pee, fresh dessert fruits and grape zest in the finish. A really tasty wonderful saison. 25.05.2013

Bottle at home, 03/08/13. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a mahoosive white head which thins but retains as a soild covering - looks the bollocks ! Nose is grass, burnt lemon rind, spice, bitter orange, lemon curd, herbal qualities, juicy citrus notes. Taste comprises bitter citric fruit, lemon rind, grass, farmy, light mineral notes, earthy tartened fruit. Lighter end of medium bodied, soft carbonation, light tarte fruit showering at the curtain call. Excellent saison, refreshing and crisp to the end.

330ml bottle. Filmy golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Spicy yeasty aroma, floral notes, a grassy touch, meadow flavours, hints of urinal cake, some lemon. Taste is dry and minimally tart fruity, slightly soapy, hints of lemon, lemon zest, dry hoppy finish, cautious pale malty basis with hints of biscuit. Nice lemon note, sadly a bit soapy.

Light haze on this gold beer, decent white head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Light minerally carbonation. Mildly bitter yeast. Thin airy malt. Nice citrus - a little orange and a touch of lemon. Finishes semi dry with orange peel providing bitterness.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Borough Wines Wilton Way. Pours mostly clear yellow, highly effervescent, with a huge, frothy white head. Delicate dry dough in the nose, plenty of lemony citrus zest, hints of hay. Light sweet flavor with light biscuity pale malts, bitter lemon rind, a bit of spicy yeast, citrus zest. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Clean, moderately dry finish, more delicate and dry doughy pale malts, some bitter citrus rind and straw, slight flinty minerals. Delicious stuff. Effortlessly drinkable. Another winning grisette from Partizan.
