Dorothy (1921-1994) was our grandfather’s sister, Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this hoppy Farmstead® ale is crafted from New Zealand and American hops, our distinctive yeast blend and water from our well. Dry hopped, unfiltered, and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Dorothy.

Hazy yellow with a massive and very fine-bubbled head. Smells flowery, very sour, a bit like a wild farm field - as it should ;-). Flavor is quite bitter, lots of citrus, very complex.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that dissipate quickly. Hay, horseblanket, citrus peel and grain permeates the nose. Clean and crisp, soft mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Lemon zest, hay more horseblanket. Great balance throughout. Lovely dry finish.
