Bottle. Beermoth, Manchester. Re-branded as Sundown. (I think). 4.5%. Murky, dark, orangey red. Messy film, and a few bubbles of off white head. Syrupy, toffee malt. Thick, oily hop. Bit of overripe banana in there. Taste is a bit sweet. Some bitterness. Palate is oily, and gloopy. Finishes moderate bitter. Not for me.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Clear copper coloured body, lacing white head. Lots of tropical fruit in the nose, it is still there in the taste, but with a lingering citrus kick there as well. Refreshing, but very hop heavy.

On gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol April 2013. Reddish amber with a slight, off-white head. Big, hoppy beer, with plenty of red berries and citrus fruits, some solid malts and a dry finish with a hint of pine, Excellent.

Cask at Penderel’s Oak, JDW - London. Pours clear, red-gold with a tight, creamy tan cap. Drying citrus nose, light pine. Light sweet falvor with good, sturdy piney bitterness, orange rind, moderate minerals. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry but resinous hop finish, some earth, pine, toasty pale malts, dirt, grapefruit, orange and melon. Good.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Hazy amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, a little soft. Fine carbonation, semi dry. Very good and fresh hops. Bitter orange marmalade and citrus. Bitter pine with a touch of tangerine. Decent bitter linger. A very surprisingly well hopped beer. Certainly US style.
