Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear copper coloured brew with an fine hints Bitter Ale fruitiness and well balanced adding of lemonade. First Shandy rated beer and this one is quite good.

Bottle from my better half. Nose is stale and oddly lagerish Taste is overpowering sugar and sherbet slight malt in the stage finish. I don’t quite know what I expected but this is awful.

bottle at home ... copper ... massive white head ... sweet lemonade nose ... and again lemonade ... with just a little amount of beer... nice and refreshing though and not as fizzy as lemonade... im quite enjoying it

Clear copper coloured, practically no head. Although it says ale shandy it tastes exactly like lager shandy with the lemonade flavour dominant.

50cl bottle from Tesco. An interesting take on the 2.8% concept - blend your beer down to that ABV with lemonade - well that’s what the label says. This ceratinly looks like a "proper" bitter shandy, a fairly dark amber with a billowing white head and some gentle carbonation once it settles down; the aroma has the traditional Burton egginess; the flavour has the expected balance of malts and sweet lemonade, but it’s much sweeter than I’d expect - certainly if I’d made my own shandy from Pedigree and R Whites to hit this ABV. Not bad, particularly the lemonade, but could be better.

500ml bottle. Pours orange with a thin head. Aroma is dusty, grainy, faint lemonade and boiled sweet malt. Nice lemonade start. Some dusty malt. Lemonade and fruity malt finish. Refreshing, at least.
