Alkoholhalt: 9 %

Bottle as a gift from Albin ( ratebeer name Wanabe_me ) awsome bro ! Thnx very much ! Pours very dark brown, close to black. Creamy, bit darker , good sized head. Smell is darksugar. palmsugar pops to mind. I had some palmsugar that had coffee aspects, this scent reminds me of that. Doesn’t smell like there’s actual coffee in this, but I do get the aspects... The sweet, earhtyness, factors are really strong, and very attypical for an impy. Taste is sugary, aromatic, again that coffee-like-palm-Sugar aspects. a certain dryness ( roasty ), a certain bitterness. rather sweet, a thick, sugary ( special Sugar ) mouthfeel. it’s definately off the charts compared to any other imperial stout I’ve had. it’s not comparable with anything I’ve had before, accept of one of my homebrews, with loads of Palmsugar in it ( hence the constant remembrance of it ) Accept for the fact this is many, many times better in both quality and taste. I really enjoyed this, but have a hard time to view this as an imperial stout, since it’s so different. I’d be very curious to find out how this is brewed, is it indeed palmsugar? This seems like it could have a style on its own. I applaud it ! Thnx very much Albin, I enjoyed this more that I thought i would !

Heavy roast, light leather and sky oxidation. Nothing too fancy has happened here. #danishpours

Black color with tan head. A bit yeasty, chocolaty (sweeter chocolate), vanilla, quite weird sweetness there. Not a classical ImpStout. More of a Porter?

Bottle at SinH4?s Goodbye Event. Roasty aroma, but not that well defined and not so sweet. Taste is very sweet though, almost like a glacing. Not much else though.

Clear, very dark brown. Tiny offwhite head. Aroma has licorice, malt and alcohol. Malty flavour with licorice, raisins and warming alcohol. Long lasting, controlled bitterness and sligthly boozy finish.
