[Cask at the Monk’s Retreat (JDW), Reading] Mahogany in hue with a thick beige head. Nice light and frothy mouthfeel, although it is very thin (but very thirst-quenching as a result). Blackcurrant, smoke and nice roasty malts throughout. More blackcurrant in the slightly dry finish. A good tasty mild, which some may find a little thin.
