Amber gold body with heavy visible carbonation topped by a pillowy white head. Nose is understated but pleasant with citrus and tropical fruit notes. the taste is subdued but refreshing featuring fruity hops and bready malt. Clean and drinkable but not really memorable.

Slightly hazy copper pour, with a small off white head. Lots of citrus aromas, subtle herbs, mint, grass, and some light stone fruit. Mouth feel is slightly thin, carb is soft. Finish is medium bitter, with a crisp, hoppy, citrucy finish.

Did not like their Waterloo 1815 last night, so hope this one will be better. Pours a slightly hazed, light golden-amber colour with a nice warm cap that stays a while, leaving some foamy lacing. Nice aromas of grapefruits and other citrus, with some grass notes. Some caramel malts. A little creaminess in the mouthfeel, with some tart. The taste is not as hoppy, not as fruity as the nose gives it to be, but some decent bitterness shows up in the aftertaste. Hints of caramel are present as well. This is a much better brew. A good American Pale ale at 4.7% with 50 IBU.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy orangey color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and floral citrusy notes is pretty awesome. Taste is not as big as I was expecting on fruity tropical fruit ester with some citrusy malt notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Hops flavours was really big on aroma but seems to be not as dominant in the taste which is a shame.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear medium amber with a small white head that recedes to a sheet leaving some sparse lace. Light toffee underneath a medium citrus nose along with some pine and floral notes. Taste follow with light sweet honey and toffee supporting a medium bitter middle and long finish. Body is medium light and slightly chewy with average carbonation. Nice, if a tad thin.

Draft - Grapefruit and some pine, with a touch of sweet tropical fruit. Hazy gold with a rich white head. Pine and resinous hops with a derby finish. Big on hops, little balance.

Cask @ The Caley Sample Room, 260912
Dark rich amber, hazy, thin white head
Aroma - sweet orangey caramel malts, citrus hops, soft resins
Taste - big citrus hops, big hop flavour, more hop flavour than bitterness, soft background of sweet orangey light caramel malts
Palate - soft carb, thin body, hoppy quite bitter palate (not as bitter as I thought it would be at 125 IBUs), flavour seems to fall a bit in the middle towards the finish. Finish as main flavour with some lingering grapefruit hops
Overall - It’s surprising I didn’t find it all that bitter. I think it would be better at a slightly higher abv to support the hops, there just seems something a bit missing in there. It’s still rather good though

Bottle (4.7%) from LCBO. Hazy orange body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, steel, strawberry and grapefruit. Flavour of bitter hops and lemon with a long, bitter finish. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. A crisp, hoppy beer. I first tried this on keg in Edinburgh in September 2012 - it was 4.1% ABV and 125 IBU (also rated 3.7).
