Cask, 4.5% at the brewery as Allanwater 80shilling. It pours deep. Mahogany brown with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, cola, Dr Pepper, wood and cola cubes. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, wood, leather stewed black tea, bit of cola, dr pepper and fruit cake with a some tannin on the finish. Light to medium body and foamy carbonation. Decent balance and drinkability. Not bad.
