A tropical pale ale. A stone fruit aroma leads to a light citrus flavour that is rounded off with a clean and refreshing finish.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle from Morrison's in East Kilbride. Brought home to Jersey by my wife. It pours dark amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of tropical fruits, citrus & hints of pine. Medium body & bitterness in the finish. Better than average blonde ale.

Cask @Treefolk's (Rome). Dorata, velata, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note fruttate, agrumi, erbaceo, zest di limone. In bocca è morbida, delicata, con amaro lieve, secca, pulita, forse un po' corta. Corpo esile, carbonazione leggera. Si beve.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured an unclear copper with whispery white head. Aroma is malty, a bit earthy, light fruits. Taste is bold malts, very caramel and earthy, some soft fruits to balance it.

29/5/2020. Bottle courtesy of Painy’s pre-lockdown Scottish tour. Pours almost clear dark gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, nicely hopped, tropical fruit salad, mango, peach, citrus, flowers and a touch of caramel and butter. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Sweet fruity finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Morrisons, Inverurie. It pours golden with a medium white head. The aroma is quite soft, freshly cut grass, biscuit, zingy lemon and lemon curd. The taste is crisp, dry, decent hit of bitterness, grassy character, straw, hay, peppery spice and light soap with a drying finish. Light+body and fine, foamy carbonation. Drinks easy for sure. Fine.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of soap and white grapes. Flavour of grass and peach skin. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and easy to drink.

50cl Bottle, thanks R&J! Slightly hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of dry dusty malts, light floral, citrus, light soapy, hoppy. Flavour is likewise, dry and floral, lemony hops, light sludgy yeast flavour, decent bitter finish. Light bodied. Could definitely drink a few of these.
