ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Clear brown beer, residual pale tan head. Light semi dry palate. Slightly sourish dark malts. A little balsamic vinegar. A little coffee. Odd but okay beer. Maybe mildly infected.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. I would classify this a s a Scottish Ale, but obviously Ian thinks he knows better..... It pours deep amber, with a thin white head. The nose chocolate, dark fruit and vinegar. The taste is tangy dark fruit, malt vinegar, raisin, currant, cherry, sherry, sweet-sour aspect and chocolate, with a dry-roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Yes the tanginess suggests it’s infected, but it doesn’t taste all that bad to me.
