Hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons on 12 Apr 2012. Golden to light amber in colour with a thin white head that didn’t hang around too long. The aroma was fruity, leaning towards the citrus end of the fruit basket. The taste was also leaning to a bittering almost sour citrusy feel, my notes kept saying ’grapefruit’ and that is my main memory of this brew. Sharp and refreshing: but not what I want in a UK bitter (not enough malt content for my palate).

Cask-conditioned at the Bridge Inn, Bristol 2/05/2012. Amber with a slight white head. Hedgerow hops, a touch of orange blossom, and a decent bitter finish with some citrus kick. Very good.

Cask gravity at Bexley 7th BF. Gold lasting thin white head. Blackcurrant aroma. Not as good nick. Decent bpackcurrant golden ale. Fine good sharp blackcurrant. Blackcurrant is great.
