This pilsner beer is a combination of ground red peppers, malted barley and hops. It’s a delicious, velvety beer with a hint of spice and a surprisingly warm finish.

Bottle, 5%. Mildly fruity aroma, hint of baking yeast. Slightly hazy yellow colour. Good stable white head. The flavour has a mild fruitiness, but is nicely clean. Medium bitterness, crisp. Hint of baking yeast in the finish. Good.

Beer tasting at the brewery 8/7/2011 I wasn’t expecting much from this beer as I’m not a pils fan or a pepper fan but the combination here is a good one. The pepper hint in the taste and aftertaste makes it an interesting beer. A nice surprise! A little overcarbonated

Sample from a friend at Arendsnest. Hazy golden pour with frothy white head. Clean citrus aroma with sugar and yeast. Citrus flavor too but flavors muted by over carbonation

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy pale gold beer. Tidy white head. Fresh pale malt which is a little creamy. Refreshing citrus lemon and grapefruit. Spritzy minerals. Nice beer!
