(Cask at Lyric, Soho, London, 24 April 2016) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, apricots, nuts and slightly earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, citrus and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

Cask at Market Porter 24th January 2013. this is a little disapointing, nothing to distinguish it from any other light ale. OK

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 29/12/12. Lightly hazed mid amber with a thin off white bubbly heaad. Nose is caramel malts, fruit, little hoppage. Taste carries more depth than the nose, caramel malt, dark fruits, candied sugars, touch of bread. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate with some bitterness in the finish. A decent tasty bitter.
