Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il fruttato e lo speziato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. La limpidezza del liquido è cristallina e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è fine. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di amaro. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce caramello, miele, amaretto, spezie, frutta secca, luppolo, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico e agrumi.

Bottled. Deep golden/pale amber colour with a big foamy white head. Aroma is resin, some fruity, floral and mild sweet malts. Flavour is sweet malts, some floral, herbal, wooden and mild resiny notes. Nice earthy/grassy and floral bitterness in the finish. Simplistic, but tasty.

Keg at Doppio Malto, Glasgow. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, light caramel. Taste is bitter, more citrus and floral hops. Light bitter finish.

14 September 2020. At Doppio Malto, Verona. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear golden with an unstable, frothy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of mandarin peel, yellow grapefruit, pineapple, yellow apple, white pepper, breadcrust. Taste has sweetish apple, pear & citrus, bit sour next to bitter grapefruit & spices; bready maltiness supporting the lot well into the dry, spicy, earthy hoppy finish, citrus & yeast lingering. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Easy drinker, not bad for an ESB.

Draft - Light citrus and some pale malts. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Light bitterness, citrus peel and bitterness.

Draught @ the brewpub in Rome. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of malt and yeast. Bitter and citric flavour of C-hops, with sweetish touches of yeast and malt. Bitterish aftertaste witht estery notes and grassy touches. Reasonable, but the use of American C-hops makes it taste like a tame IPA rather than a Bitter.

Draught @ BQ - Birra Artigianale di Qualita (Navigli Grande 44), Milan. Pours dark yellow with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, herbs, grass. Flavor is light bitter, malt, yeast, grassy hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 131215

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow, white and dense head. Fruity, peachy and crisp hoppy. Grassy. Bitter, citrusy. Lasting fruity. Crisp hoppy and fruity finish.
