Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - red and orange fruit. A touch ofshortbread. Taste - light red fruit and very faint biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - I think this is an amber ale. It’s tasty. A bitter would have more biscuit notes. But it’s very enjoyable.

Bottle split at Scopey’s 5K Extravaganza of Oompah Band meets doorbell music, thanks to Don Paulo - 15/02/14. Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is orange sherbet, bread dough, peach, straw. Taste comprises light peach, apricot, orange pith, citric sherbet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop profile. Decent bitter, nice opener to the bash.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Cheers to the main man for this one. Lightly hazy amber beer, small white head. Smooth palate,.semi dry. Smooth malt, touch of cream. Mildly bitter citric hops and a somehow pleasing amount of twiggyness!! Finishes smooth. A tasty and well balanced bitter. Very drinkable.

Bottle shared at the Scopey 5K tasting - big thanks to the host for this one. Pours hazy, golden-brown with a fluffy, white head. Sweet with moderate bready malts, ripe citrus fruits, light brown sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with faint plastic notes, sugary bread. So so.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 25/1/2014. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, malty bitter with some caramel but decent, balancing hops, leading to a lasting, bitter finish. Good.
