Slightly dark blond look. Aroma is sweet and alcoholic with some malt and a little hop. Flavour is quite clean considering the 7.7% alcohol level. Very malty and a little sweet in flavour but quite easy on the pallet.

I liked this one much better than the classic royal. Stronger but not very alcoholic. The best among the mainstream strong danish beers I tried.

Bottle named Ceres Strong Ale. Powerfull but not delicate aroma. Frothy white convinsing Head but it fades out into nothing. Moderate bitterness. A strange beer. Royal Selection: creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Powerfull nice aroma and flavor. Oily palate. 5/3/6/3/11

Bottle. Citric aroma. Golden colour, small white head. Sweet and alcoholic flavour. IMHO just another strong lager.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Ceres Dortmunder". In the old days before the Danish beer-revolution this was one of my favourite brews, and it’s still a beer I appreciate a lot. Nice and golden, decent head. Very aromatic with a somewhat spicy, almost perfumy touch. Soft with a lot of sweet malt. Very discreet hoppiness. 260100

Well, picked it up at a gas station where my bus stopped, I looked for the beer with the highest alcohol percent in the cooler, and found this (I think it said 7.7, not 6.6, but not sure now). Drank it in the bus from the bottle, so I’m not sure about the appearance, but it had a not unpleasant smell, and a slightly malty alcoholic taste. I enjoyed it, but then again, I would’ve probably enjoyed puddle water after that long drive without stopping from Nice to that gas station.

Flatish looking lager with a malty and lightly hopped aroma. The flavour is generally malty. Overall a pleasant strong ale.

Italy, 7.7% ABV
Blond color. Strong lager with something better than the average: light hop aroma, some malt body, quite strong and pretty hoppy final.

Yellow with white, short-lived head. Good strong malt nose. Malty aroma with a bit too much alcohol. Too much sweetness, but good bitter finish.
