A new addition to the Signature Range. Santa’s Sack has the warm caramel textures and rich fruit overtones you’d expect to find in a full-flavoured festive beer – a present to be unwrapped more than once perhaps?

Cask @ Hare and Hounds, Todmorden. Slightly hazed darker amber coloured with a thin head. Has a full-body with a medicinal fruitiness in nose and taste, but certainly a winter one given it’s a seasonal ale. There’s cinnamon spice in this.

Cask at the Central Bar, JDW. Pours a dark, clear, ruby-brown with a creamy, off-white cap. Bready malts in the nose with some sugar syrup and caramel. Flavor holds medium sweetness, with cheap toffee, burnt sugar, light toast and just faint, herbal hops. Light to medium in body with fine, smooth carbonation. Easygoing, caramel and malt finish, with some light dryness and creamy toffee. Striving to be average.
