Spoons Fest! Clear brown beer with a some semblance of a white head. Semi dry palate, low carbornation. Mild dark malt and some minerally apologetic hop (orange). Trace of banana. Inoffensive, drinkable, utterly unremarkable.

Cask handpull Muggletons JDW Maidstone. Clear dark chestnut colour with a thin dark beige head. Its a decent dark ale with some good dark fruit that is juicy on the swallow. Yes an alright dark beer. 6.5 re rate cask handpull at Barrel Vault JDW St Pancras black beer lasting beige head. Cracking condition some dark roast malt flavour its fine. Decent Irish dry stout style.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 10/11/10. Deep brown with a tight, off-white head. Aroma of chocolate powder, berry fruit and cereal malts. Bready malt flavours with some more chocolate and a lingering bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Copper with a thin white head; spicy aroma; chewy malty body with some sweet biscuit flavours; and a light fruity finish. A pleasant dark bitter.

Cask at Sheep Heid Inn, Edinburgh, Scotland. Hazy brown colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of light roasted malts, nuts, bit of coffee. Flavour is also nuts, toasted malts, light coffee, watery bitter finish. A bit faint and tasteless overall. Ligth bodied.
