16th April 2010. Clear amber beer. Nice frothy off white head. Semi soft light palate. Fresh orange fruit well blended with even malt. Just a trace of banane before the dry finish. The zesty fruit raises this above average.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a thin cream head; stewed malt aroma; flavour of stewed malts and caramel; some pleasant hops to finish.

Cask handpull at Samuel Peto, JDW, Folkestone. Not much more than I can add to SilkTork’s rating really other than it tasted a bit of ketchup as well. It’s a brown bitter with some indifferent malt, no real hop presence, a tad of dryness on the end.
