Spoons Fest. Clear light amber beer. Small frothy white head. Softish semi dry palate. Malt crispness provides a foundation for some light bitter hop that has a faint pineapple sweet edge. Lingering bitter hop aftertaste. Decent.

Cask handpull at Samuel Peto, JDW, Folkestone. Clear opper, lasting beige head. Pleasantly flowery hoppy slightly biscuity pale ale. Stupidly drinkable. Love it. Touch of butter on the aroma maybe. Good balanced bitterness on end. Why can’t all bitter be this good? Wow, lovely hops.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 3/11/09. deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of biscuit malts, marmalde and hedgerow fruit. Flavour had some digestives, more fruit and a decent bitter finish. Very drinkable.
