Half pint, cask, as Crown and Anchor Ale at the Crown & Anchor in Plymouth. A low beige head over a clear and bright copper coloured body. Fair lacing. Caramel nose, with hints of sweet peaches. The taste profile is dominated by caramel malts, earth and juicy malts. Bittersweet tail. Drinks well (22.09.2016).

Cask @ Crown And Anchor, Plymouth. Copper with a small creamy head. Full of very tasty grain and biscuit malts. Has lots of nose in this respect.

Spoons Fest. Clear dark amber beer. Light palate. Low carbonation. Well balanced light malt that is very slightly nutty. The hops are fruity and a little grassy/spicy. Finishes with more orange fruit and a trace of peach. Dry malt aftertaste.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Rich chestnut colour. Thin beige head. Decent best bitter like not brewed anymore. Lovely dry malt. Really drinkable. Some decent earth hop flavour. I liked it.

Cask-conditioned at a JDW in Reading 8/11/09. Deep amber in colour with a decent white head. Cereal malts and grassy hop aroma. Flavour began with a touch of red fruit sweetness, more cereals and a bittering hop finish. Enjoyable.
