Pint from the Victoria, Lincoln. Pale gold colour, with a thick creamy head. The aroma has citrus, grapefruit. The taste does as well with a slightly sour bitter finish.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Clear golden with a small head. Easy drinking with a malty character and a higher bitterness factor.

Blond appearance. Sweet fruity aroma and taste with some orangey citrus. Texture is thin.

Oct 2011: Hand pulled pint in the excellent Cock Hotel, Wellington, Shropshire. Orangey pale hue to the amber body, on top a thin white head that refused to leave any lacing and became just a wisp after two sips. The smells were of semi-sour grapefruits, with some sugar cane esters for good measure. The taste also had the grapefruit citrusy feel to it, not so much sugar as the smell though: a slightly bitter aftertaste (hops?) took away the sourness of the grapefruit but didn’t detract from the overall flavours enough to ruin the beer in any way. Different, but not really exciting enough for me to have two.

cask some where ... light hazy amber ... light fruit hop nose .. soapy grapefruit .. dry bitter linger.

Cask at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby - ABV 4.5%. Gold with a thin white head; heady perfumed flora aroma; strong citrus taste with a well-balanced sweetness; tart grapefruit finish. Excellent.

Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Pale orange slightly hazy. Very citrusy nose. Sweet and mild, rounded but too sugary with harsh medicinal salty bitter finish.
