Super clear golden coloured body with a copper glow and some bubbles rising from the bottom with a nice two centimetre tall off-white head that leaves a pretty nasty lace on the top. Aroma of resinous and skunky hops with a lot of grassiness, some light hay, flowers and subdued malts with some sweetness noticeable. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and dry hay-like flavours show through with a lot of hop bitterness, some flowers and citrus as well as pine come through, but the end is well-balanced with some sweetness, malt and fruits. Aftertaste shows a great balance of malt and hops with a lot of bitterness, some light sweetness, a bit of resin and pine notes and a kick of hay for good measure. Overall, a nicely structured and fairly well-executed IPA with a decidedly West Coast (PNW) slant, but shows of some East Coast styles and more of malt profile that defines a macro-produced beer, but the balance here is nice. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased earlier in the day from Trig's in Wasau, Wisconsin on 07-August-2021 for US$9,99/mixed six pack, sampled in my hotel room here in Madison, Wisconsin on 07-August-2021 while on vacation with my family.

On tap at The Rigby. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines grass and earthy pine with a grain backbone. Flavor has a nice pine note with grass and grains underlying.

Pour is a clear copper with a average white head. Aroma is more of a sweet malt and a herbal hop. Flavor is more of a dryer malt with again a very mild almost minor hop. It was not a sweet malt bomb like I thought it was going to be but in the world of IPA’s this would be way far down the list of ones to try. Really almost no noticeable hops are present.

Bottle. Clear orange amber, large white head that dissipates slowly leaving nice, if a bit clumpy, lacing. Aroma is caramel, pine, citrus.flavor is the same, lightly sweet, light bitterness increasing in strength to the sweetish finish. Light bodied and a bit oily.

Bottle. Hazy golden body. Frothy, small-bubbled off-white head, slowly diminishing. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit and sweet orange juice with notes of toasted grain, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of grapefruit rind and orange peel, finishing with leafy hop flavors. The hop flavors ride atop a clean malty sweetness. Nice IPA.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy dark gold with a half finger of white head. Aroma of resin and light citrus hops with a good bit of caramel and toffee. Taste is medium-light bitter. Lots of resinous hops. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, pretty good. I wish I would have bought a whole 6 pack instead of just the single.

12 ounce bottle from Woodmans West Madison. Pours a clear copper color with a thin head that fades quickly. Aroma of resin and citrus hops with a toffee finish. The taste is bitter resiny, herbal hops with toffee malts. A bit of citrus in the finish. Medium bodied. Decent IPA.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed after a boring day of work after the 4th weekend. Appearance a pretty clear copper / gold with a thin white head, lots of little carbonation bubbles rising to the top. Aroma mostly of malt, has a very Fat Tire like aroma with the bready/caramel malts, not really that hoppy in the nose, if anything maybe a bit of earthy/citrus hop notes, but really the dominant trait is malt. Taste also malty, crisp, but there is a bitter bite in the back end that makes for a nice finish. Also definite grapefruit presence in the end, which is pretty good. Glad to have tried it but won’t be coming back to it anytime soon. It’s not bad, it’s just not an IPA in my book, just a malty ale with grapefruit notes.

Draft at the OF. Hazy orange-tan with a big, thick head. Fresh earthy cascade hop aroma. Solid soapy bitter hop flavor. Thick, full bodied IPA, walking the line pretty close to IIPA. Bitter hop aftertaste with a touch of soapiness. Classic, well done.
