500ml bottle from Morrisons. Gold orange clear colour a bit like well I don’t know what. Thick white head. Artificial fruit aroma of something like a summer fruits cordial. It is frankly, and utterly rubbish. God knows what this is supposed to be. A bitter with some fruit syrup dumped into it. Really disgusting. 3 mouthfeels and then a drain pour.

Bottle, picked up at Morrissons, Banbury, Oxon 28-08-08 had this in Dorset Pours rusty red in colour with slight pinkish hue to the head, very clear. Syrupy summer fruit aroma with blackberries the most noticeable amongst the artificial tasting flavour’s. Too sweet, bit alcopoppy, any beer in here has long since left the party, despite all the criticism I didn’t hate it.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. A strange colour, amber but with a raspberry tint, slightly hazy and looking natural rather than artificial, the head is thin and very white. The aroma is attractive, slightly sour with raspberry and strawberry - again quite natural. Again surprisingly tart and sour in the mouth, with predominantly raspberry flavours, and a deep underlying bitterness from the hops that slowly rises, bringing with it some malty body. Overall an interesting beer.

According to the label This is the first in a range of seasonal beers that have been developed from an exclusive partnership between Morrisons and Titanic Brewery. I’ll certainly be on the look out for their next offering.
