Buzzing with flavour this pale golden lightly honey'd ale has a delicate floral aroma, hints of citrus and dried fruit then the full bittersweet flavours of malt, honey and grapefruit. The honey and sugar we use in the brew is fairtrade which helps to provide a better deal for disadvantaged farmers and workers.
TASTING NOTES
Nice hoppy moderate bitterness with honey sweet aroma. Floral touches as well as refreshing fruity notes. Pleasant bitter after taste. Very drinkable. Low in carbonation. Nice amberish colour.
BITTER
A gold to copper color, low carbonation and medium to high bitterness. Hop flavor and aroma may be non-existent to mild. Great to drink with steak and lobster.

Brown 500ml bottle, best before Feb 2008, drank March 2007. Poured into my Hoegarden ’Grand Cru’ tulip glass. This honey flavoured beer looks OK, terracotta orange in colour with a full foaming white head. No huge honey aroma, but there is a weak mix of flowery smells. Citrus overtones, grapefruit too, a strange flavour, not bad, just strange. The grapefruit taste stays, giving you a dry aftertaste. Nothing wrong with this at all, just not my thing. The scores could have been 0.5 in either direction, which would have made this a fantastic beer, or a crap one. I think I’ve got it right.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Only a hint of honey. Fruity and malty and with some graperfuit hop bitterness. Alright.

A: Brown with oranage icecream colored foam, half light head S: A fresh (spring) smell of honey T: Honey, grape fruit AT: Long strong aftertaste Not the best of the honey ales I’ve found! But a honey ale always resives extra points due to its swetness. Taste date: 20090411 Serving type: bottle

Hazy amber colour. Powerful flavour of honey comes through with some banana. Hops offer a sharp, citrusy edge. Texture quite thin and watery. Sweet, sugary aftertaste.
