Buzzing with flavour this pale golden lightly honey'd ale has a delicate floral aroma, hints of citrus and dried fruit then the full bittersweet flavours of malt, honey and grapefruit. The honey and sugar we use in the brew is fairtrade which helps to provide a better deal for disadvantaged farmers and workers.

TASTING NOTES
Nice hoppy moderate bitterness with honey sweet aroma. Floral touches as well as refreshing fruity notes. Pleasant bitter after taste. Very drinkable. Low in carbonation. Nice amberish colour.

BITTER
A gold to copper color, low carbonation and medium to high bitterness. Hop flavor and aroma may be non-existent to mild. Great to drink with steak and lobster.

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak honey aroma. OK flavour, starts off a little grainy, but turns more mellow after a few sips. Not exactly a winner, but decent.

500 ml bottle. Floral aroma; maybe a honey note. Copper color with a white head. Floral hop over sweetish caramel. There’s a honey ending to each swallow. The honey builds more than the hop. Ok brew, but primarily due to the hop.

From Sainsburys. Dark amber with a decent beige head that left rings down the glass. Aroma of honey and some hops. Mouth feel was a bit chunky with sweet honey flavours and a slightly tired finish. Ok.

500ml bottle form Sainsbury. Amber, thin beige head. Some honey and cardboard on the aroma. It’s got some fine honey sweetness and fullness in mouth. It’s then got a strange bittery hoppy finish. It’s a honey beer with a lot of honey meshed into a bitter that doesn’t quite work.

Pours a pale golden colour with a distinct honey smell. The honey is very noticeable in the flavour, I found it stronger than any of the other honey beers I’ve tried. However, much like the others I found that while this was nice at first with a good honey taste, after a while it started to taste quite bitter and was hard to drink. Nice in small quantities.
