Originally produced as a one-off brew called "Two Rings" to celebrate the wedding of Angus and Pam MacRuary, this light-golden ale proved so popular that it now appears often. It has a fruity, full-bodied character with a very light bitter aftertaste.

Cask at Prince of Wales, Aberdeen (great condition as usual). It pours dark amber, with a thin foamy white head. The nose is leather, fruit cake, raisin, plum, varnish and brandy. The taste is wood, raisin, plum, date, red grape, leather, smoke and wood polish, with a dry finish. It has a light to medium body and soft carbonation. Looking at the pervious reviews you would think this is terrible, but I thought it was really good. I even went back for another!

Copper colour. The aroma is fruity, but maybe with some sulphur as well. Thin and a bit sewagey. Really not on - something amiss here.

Light amber in colour, citrus hop nose with a light fruity flavour with lots of hop bitterness.
