A 'small batch' copper coloured lager combining lightly kilned Vienna and Munich malts to create a gentle balance of caramel and fruit flavours. Its subtle sweetness and rich barley taste is underpinned by the gentle spice of its Hallertau and Spalter hops.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Deep brown beer. Very mild and smooth. Late swell of worcester sauce tang. Very light palate - bordering on watery. Refreshing.

330 ml bottle. Mahogany body with a light brown head that disappears. Real good looking anyway. A bit vague aroma of caramel and fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, some brown sugar and low bitterness. Thin body and short finish, not a very memorable beer.

A deep amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of brewmash, fruits, and citrus. The flavor is also sweet malty with strong notes of fruit, especially oranges, but also notes of brewmash and caramel, the malt note has a hint of roastiness - like roasted bread. The body is a bit thin.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Sainsbury’s Vienna Style Amber Lager" at 5,0% ABV. Beautiful dark amber-colour with some red thrown in. Clear and filtered without much head. Very soft with a sweetish malt-character. Caramel and nuts in there too. Not much bitterness. Close to perfect for it’s type. 200405
