28/1/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear dark amber bronze with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, honey, flowers, fruit, slight medicinal menthol edge. Medium to heavy sweetness, touch of tart. Medium to full body, oily sticky texture, low carbonation. Bittersweet honey finish.

Bottle at Craig’s. Compared to some of the meads I’ve had there, this is very standard stuff! Sweet honey, light booze burn. Honey.

Shared bottle. Copper brown, clear and still. Rich aroma of honey and leather. Taste is fully sweet at first, then turns to a tannic sweet/sour. Syrupy mouthfeel. Aftertaste is a bit saccharin. Ok all in all, but a little bit is enough for me.

Bottled. Clear dark amber, no head. Minty nose with overripe fruits - somehown with autumny connotations and some fungae. Very sweet and viscous. Concentrated minty flavour. Honey comes through more in a warmign finishm togther with licorice. An interesting, full intense mead.

amber coloured mead, with a light honey nose and a rich honeyness thats just a bit bitter. Better than lots but undrinakable compaired with the best. This was one i really liked, but on drinking it one day after a bottle gales, i really couldnt touch it.
