Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 5th September 2023. Deep copper with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Nutty malts aroma. Fruity in-mouth with ripe berries and nutty malts. Caramel malt and leafy hops in finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled. Clear dark amber, rich head. Odd fruity aroma. Sweet with light notes of grass and minerals. Plum and other fruit are the most evident features. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel, lightly phenolic. Finishes with low bitterness.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Hazy orange/copper colour. Sweetish candy sugar, bit of hop, quite dry in mouth with a bit of vegetable. Tangerine/citrus finish and almost a bit of plasticine.
