Bottle at The White Hart, Eltham. Brown pour with a beige head. Nose is caramel, lots of sweet malts. Taste is caramel, dried fruits, toffee, raisin. Malty sweet aftertaste. Went down rather well (personally) surprisingly.

Die Optik erscheint rötlich kupfer- bis leicht kastanienfarben und klar. Die beigefarbene, feinporige Schaumkrone wirkt beinahe cremig, flaumig und gut haltbar. In der Nase nimmt man brotige bis leicht karamellige Malznoten, sowie leichte reife Fruchtnoten, die an Beeren wie Cassis oder Brombeere, aber auch Herzkirsche erinnern. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, schön rezent, leicht karamellig malzig bis fruchtig/beerig und fruchtig-kräuterig hopfenaromatisch. Im Mund zeigt sich ein relativ schlanker Körper mit feiner bis mäßig grober Rezenz, leicht seidiger Textur und leichter Trockenheit. Auf Zunge und Gaumen zeigt sich eine relativ einfache, brotige bis karamellige Malzbasis mit leicht fruchtigem Einschlag von reifen roten Beeren und einer trockenen, fruchtig-kräuterigen, zart bitteren Hopfenaromatik. So wird ein überschaubares, sicher massentaugliches, aber sehr harmonisches und rundes Profil gezeichnet. Ein Bier, welches man gerne mal trinkt, da es nicht überfordert und einfach bleibt, sich aber doch von Pils, Hellem & Co. abhebt. Im Nachtrunk fällt die Malzcharakeristik langsam ab. Dem folgen die leicht fruchtigen Noten und letztendlich bleibt eine leicht trockene, heuige bis leicht kräuterige und sanft bittere Hopfenaromatik hängen.

Overpriced pint in an Irish pub in Nuremberg. No head. Caramel aroma.Thin body and caramel flavour. Holistic beer that doesn’t score high in any criterion but overall is enjoyable.

Damn I’ve never rated this. Honestly this was a decent "bridge" beer for me back in the early 2000s as I traded up from yellow crappy.

ah, another one of those beers that back in highschool was fancy, and exotic. Now that i’m tasting and appreciating it. its nutty, and malty. Its not bad actually, could be alot worse, has some caramel notes in there. not bad, kinda wattery though.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo tostato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma color avorio che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido appare velato e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è fine. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è medio.L'amaro è discreto. La forza gustativa è normale e la persistenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sulla lingua si attestano indizi di caramello e di miele.

Aroma of malts, some caramel, light nuts. Flavour is the same, rather malty. A bit watery on the palate. Refreshing, highly quaffable, but nothing to get excited about.

Аромат карамельный, слегка солодовый, сахарный. Цвет прозрачный, коричневый. Пены практически нет. Вкус питкий, ничего не вызывает негатива. Карамелька, немного солода. Послевкусие сладкое, сахарное, но к слову сказать не сильное. В целом хорошее питкое пиво, которое вряд ли надоест. Искренне не понимаю большого негатива по поводу данного пива.
