Bottle shared. Clear golden with big fluffy off white head. Grassy, quite some bitter herbs, lemon, orange, soft caramel, touch of spices but I don’t get much black pepper. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost medium bodied with nice carbonation and light spicy finish. Quite good.

Clear amber, a little red-brown with long lasting tan head. Aroma is clove, vanilla, nuts, a little pine cone hops, some spicy booze as well. Taste is mostly champagne-like sour and a little aclohol warmth. Smooth mouthfeel, not much carbonation, long sour and a little bitter finish. Overall Ok, but a the complexity is more like an awkward combination of random stuff for me.

Bottle, about ten years old. Nice amber-orange color with eggshell head. Aroma is horseblanket, dusty yeasts, a bit fruity, desinfection spray, nice funk. Taste is slightly oxidized (but it fits), fruity, tart, dry finish. Good!

Bottle, a decade old? Dusty, spongy, Orval-like barn, horse-blanket. Bright red amber, offwhite foam. Light fruit, a bit caramal, spicy notes, leathery, light oxidized - but it fits! Amazing flavor for the age. Drinkable, fun.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of red apple, peppery spice and a faint sourness. Flavour of grass, minerals, plastic and orange zest. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Subtle and refreshing - quite Saison-like.

Bottle from Tanakaya shared at a tasting. Hazy orange with a huge soapy head that lingers throughout. Lots of orange, lemongrass and lemon zest on the nose with some grapefruit pith, pepper and grass as it warms....maybe some lime too. Bitter and fruity on the palate with the bitterness really lingering through the finish. Almost like Campari. Lots a carbonation with a light to medium body. Super complex for 4.7% however, quite bitter.

Fra flaske på Haand Ølfestival 29 Mai 15. Delt med Rune. Mørk gylden. Veldig uklar. Kortlivd skum. Forsiktig sitrusaroma. Smaken søt frukt. Blir tørrere og tørrere etter hvert.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange, with a big creamy head. Aroma is tart yeast with wood, caramel malts and perfumey peppery notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dry, tart yeast with wood and juniper, roasted malts with cereals, toffee and heather, as well as some herbal hops with orange peel. Dry peppery, wooden finish.
