Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Light malt aroma. Malt and spice flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and malt linger with spice.

Bottled. Hazy deep amber colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit, some rye, mild floral, fruity and some earthy notes. Flavour is toffee, some rye, mild fruity, grapefruity and citrusy notes and spruce. Quite much on the boozy side, but still more of a DIPA than an American Strong Ale.

Flasche 0,33l: Kräftiges Bernstein, Kupfer, deutliche Trübung, mäßig stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; sehr fruchtige + würzige Nase, leichte Süße, Zitrusnoten, exotische Früchte, Mango, Maracuja, Grapefruit, florale/kräutrige Hopfennoten, etwas Pinie, kräftig Malz, Getreide, kräftige Hefearomen, fruchtig-würzige Bitterkeit; sehr fruchtiger + würziger Körper, leichte Süße, Zitrusnoten, exotische Früchte, Maracuja, Grapefruit, Grapefruitzest, kräftige würzige Hopfennoten, floral/kräutrig, etwas Pinie, Malz, cremig, moderate Kohlensäure, trockene Hefearomen; fruchtig-würziger Nachgang

Tap at Moor Beer Co, Bristol. Pours hazy dark golden beer with a beige cap. Aroma: malty, caramel, hops, straw. Taste: moderate sweet, malty, caramel, with a bitter hoppy finish. Medium body with average carbonation.

Bouteille 33cl, du x-mas pack, merci Anna et Carles. BB 05/11/2022.
Couleur ambre léger voile, col crémeux blanc cassé assez tenace.
Arôme me replonge de suite dans les grandes DIPA américaines - flash-back d'au moins 15ans - rappelant les gros DIPA de Stone et consorts. C'est malté avec une pointe fine d'épicé venant du seigle. Rétro est sur un houblonné offrant des effluves agrumes/pamplemousse et de pin avec un léger bouquet sirupeux qui arrive en rétro-nasal.
Palais est sur une base classique US - caramel pâle avec de suite un houblonné tout autant classique virant sur les C-Hops - ici, un Centennial (je suppose) qui apporte sa dose de dank et de pin/résineux. Léger boozy, amertume qui tranche bien avec une petite note d’agrumes/pamplemousse sur la fin tout en gardant le côté pin dominant. Note de booze sur la fin mais qui passe bien. Fini légèrement collant aux lèvres.

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. A bit hazy reddish color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of fruit but not hoppy / tropical fruits unfortunately. Thin texture, a bit fizzy carbonation, lightly boozy. Bad Imperial IPA imo. Really needs a lot of work.

Copper colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some floral hop. Nice dry bitter finish.

Caña en cazurra brewpub León. 13..01..2017. (r19). Color bronce claro transparente con espuma blanca Aromas y sabores maltosos con toques ligeros de caramelos algo tostados y ligeramente ahumados. Final amargo resinosos seco y lupulos maduros algo temerosos. Cuerpo ligero a medio seco, sobretodo al final cuando calienta. Cierta densidad y más menos Espumosa. No está mal. Botella 33 cl en el kraken 10..01..2017. Fcpref 18..10..2017

Bottle@TTBS, Copenhagen - Amber golden pour with white head. Fruity and malty with notes of grapefruit and peach, some tangerine, lemon citrus splash, sweet malty base, hoppy finish. Nice.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is grapefruity and solid hoppy. Smooth fruity. Solid hoppy. Smooth fruity and lingering hoppy finish.
