Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmkβs place. Thanks kerenmk. Dark reddish amber. Aroma of stale malt, dark fruits, alcohol, caramel, light nutty notes and minerally notes. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, stale notes, some fruitiness, a bit of alcohol, and minerally and earthy notes in a drier finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle thanks to kermis @ Jim is John tasting. Unclear reddish color, small off - white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly alcohol, bitter, slightly dried fruits. Nice bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle shared at Jim is John tasting. Pours hazy amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, licorice, nuts, fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Appearance: Pours clear dark amber with a medium sized off-white creamy head, good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, ripe dark fruit and caramel
Taste: Malty, nutty, dark fruit with a bitter finish
A nice scotch ale. Easy drinking and flavorful.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly cloudy medium brown with a broken white head and lots of lace. The aroma is warm rich and malty. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with lots of alcohol burn on the back of the throat. There is lots of liqourice and cinnamon too. Itβs somewhat drinkable but the bitterness comes from the alcohol and Iβm developing a dislike for. beers where the alcohol dominates the flavour.
