75CL Acquired at the brewery. Pours a very nice purple-red color. small fizzy head that fades to a flat oily sheen instantly. Little bit of sediment but no floaties of Kriek. Cherry wine and red wine aroma. smells delicious. no tartness or vinegar. oh my. raw cherry, cherry pit, cherry juice, tannins, red wine, tart lime juice and exquisite lingering cherry flavor. I love this!

A - 2 finger rose red head. Gorgeous beer! Grape juice or something purple to burgundy.

S - Very faint. Hard to pick up. Wild fruits. Minor malt

T - Minor sweetness. Majority is huge krieks taste. Earthy almost tree branch taste. Dirty and cherry taste.

M - 20% carbonation. Dry fleeting finish. Light body

O - 79/100 needs more sweet more sour. More wild. It’s just a kriek wine. More like a wine than a beer.

Bottle, 2017. Color: Dark red, thin fast disappearing pink head. Aroma: Sourish cherries, light funk. Taste: Heavy on the moderate to medium tart and moderate sweet cherries, wild yeast funk notes, some wood and hints of sour apples. Over medium body, low carbonation. Well balanced, nice complexity. Could have been slightly more acidic in my opinion, nevertheless a real nice Kriek.

Yup, this is it, this is what krieks should be like. Tons of tart cherry, super juicy and jammy, heavy sourness and a lovely bit of funk. Awesome stuff.
