Can @ fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, little hops and has a sweet malty finish.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Clear pale golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish grains, sweetish, slightly bitter finish. Ah well, drinkable watery sweetish grainy pale lager. But I’ll drink it when there’s nothing else around.

Bottle @ joes. Clear pale yellow with a medium sized white head. Smells malty, cardboard. Tastes malts, sweetish, hay, watery. Could use more taste. Thin body, low carbo.

500ml can @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Dec 15, courtesy of Jeremy. Many thanks! Pours clear gold with a bubble-bath white head. As unremarkable as Jeremy warned us. Some vegetal notes and weird metallic off-notes on the finish. Would definitely taste better in the baking heat, that’s for sure.

Makadi Spa Hotel, cans, bottles and on tap. Not as sweet as some on here seem to claim in my opinion. Golden and bright, short lasting white head, typical lager/Pilsner in fact. A little grainy in flavour with a slight bitter finish, no aroma. Ideal hot weather beer but bland overall.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, straw, and malt, leading to a dry metallic finish.

Straw blond colour. Aroma is strong but not matched by the flavour. It’s a bit stale and watery and thin.

Out of a can, so I didn’t see it all up close and personal like. Aroma is pretty mild, but gives you a forecast of the grainy taste that is going to stand as the most noticeable thing about this beer. It tastes pretty cheap overall, kind of like a mediocre American macrobrew. However, it is really not that bad. Lots of cereal and carbonation.

Can, 5% in Old Cairo. Clear pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is slightly grainy with the usual sourness in the finish. Standard boring lager, but quite clean.
