Black Lullaby is a rich and soft Belgian dark strong ale. From the color of a very dark tunic of friar, tending to black, it has a rich and creamy beige foam, with good persistence. The nose reveals notes of caramel, biscuit, dried fruit and chocolate, and fruity notes of apple, pear and banana. In the mouth it surprises for the softness and aromas of vanilla and cocoa, followed by coffee and ripe fruit. It has a medium-low carbonation and is characterized by great cleanliness, Black Lullaby has an alcoholic body, which is highlighted with increasing temperature.

Sample draft @ BQ (via Losanna), Milano.

Schlecht. 8/5/6/6//5

Draught at BQ via Losanna, Milan
Black color with medium head. Some dark malt aroma, not roasty, quite milky instead. Good body strength; malty, sweet, with little character.
Reminds me of American attempts at Belgian beers.

11/07/2013 Bir&Fud (tap). Bruna, molto torbida, schiuma beige-cappuccino molto abbondante e persistente. Corpo medio-pieno, carbonazione media. Non in perfette condizioni, andrebbe rifinita.
