Tap at their taproom in Plzeň. Thanks Fil! Golden body, white head. Light buttery aroma, grainy. Soft, leathery taste, grainy sweetish notes, interesting.

# 169, 12/2015. Výrazně kopřivově hořký český ležák. Plná sladová chuť s náležitým chmelením.

Draft at Slunce ve skle 2013. A golden beer with an yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw and lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and spices.

Tap(@Uncle Paya, Plzeň): Golden, a bit unclear, firm, stable and very lacy creamy white head, spicy Saazy nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not really light bodied, but very soft; lingering spicy hoppy finish. Good czech quality…

Sampled from bottle thanks to Joes. Clear orange golden color, small white head. Smell malts, dust, cardboard, musty cellar. Taste malts, musty, cellar, cardboard, old. Maybe a bottle filled from draught. Overall also grainy. Low body, low to medium carbonation.

Bottle thx to Joes @ Café Oud Brabant. Hazy yellow to gold colour with a decent white head that doesn’t last too long. Smells butter, malts, not as fresh. Tastes some cardboard, butter, but also malts and fresher than i expected from the smell. Thin body, soft carbo.
