Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours clear magenta, very small pink head, dissipates quickly with no residual or lacing. Aroma is very funky, musty, cheesy, guess-like, vinous, oak tannin. Flavor is lightly tart, medium cheesy guise funk. Medium body, low carbonation. Excellent - reminds me of Lou Pepe

Bottle @ Steve0’s house. Thanks! It smells like light vinegar and raspberries. The flavor is more grape than berry forward. Moderately tart, low sweetness. Nice brew.

(Bottle sample @ CBC 2016 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a clear medium pink colour with a pale pink head. Aroma does a solid job of channeling a 'proper' fruited lambic, red wine grape character, red currants, tart red wild berries, wet funk that avoids being sulphurous/mulchy, woody barrel notes in the background. Flavour is actually on the dry side for style, up front it's got a lot of grape skins, dry red wine grapes, dusty cellar, musty funk, moderately woody and tannic, minimal herbal hop bitterness. Finish is quite dry and has a lot of red berry/grape notes filling in. Mouthfeel is medium with carb rather on the high side. Did not know it was a grape addition when I had it but the character came through well, the lack of acidity was appreciated. A solid pseudo-lambic indeed.

Sampled from a 0.75l bottle @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Looks really nice with a pinkish red cloudy colored body, on top a white head with a pinkish hue. Smells lovely. Roses and red berries. Some cherry thing, the mildly sour kind. Lovely balanced. And it tastes just as good. Smoothly balanced between the berry sweet and the vinegar sour. Nice and oily in the mouth and it's just above average on the carbonation. Superbly cherry infused in the aftertaste. 13.05.2016

Thanks Matthew for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing crimson purple with quickly dissipating purple foam. The nose shows light red wine notes. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Lightly tart with strong red wine forwardness. Seems like tempranillo with club soda without tannins or any strong vinous character.
