17 September 2020. At Valerie, Santa Maria degli Angli. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy orange, stable, thin, off-white head; little lacing. Aroma of orange blossom, mandarin peel, honey, fresh mango, plum, biscuit, faint vanilla. Taste has sweet orange, mango & plum in a biscuity-honey malty body, bit bitter thanks to citrus rinds. Floral hoppy finish, more ripe & flowery orange & mango. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fresh & flowery nose but taste is so-so.

Vi nærmer oss målsnora på Mi2 denne februarkvelden, og får nå den niende i en serie på 10 ulike flaskeøl fra et (for oss nytt) italiensk bryggeri, alt på elegante 0,33 flasker. Godt gjort at vi fortsatt har humøret i behold, da det flere ganger viste seg at i enkelte av tilfellene var designet det eneste å glede seg over, og vi lurer på hva som er vitsen med å importere lavkvalitetsøl langveis fra når der finnes så mye spennende, velsmakende (og kompetent brygget) i Skandinavia. Nesten helt klar gylden med kort skum. Honning, pærer, sukkertøy og gjærpreget krydder. Lav bitterhet. Har de brukt samme gjæren i alle disse ølene vi har prøvd??? Another milestone in waste of space and resources.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Birra Flea Costanza Blonde Ale. ABV is 5.2%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain and dust. The flavour is slightly citrussy, but the bitterness is very moderate.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 03.02.20. Cloudy straw colour. Hints of white head with large bubbles. Aroma and taste of raw malt and grains. Quite fruity. Not good at all!

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy light amber with off-white head. Aroma of flowers, light bread. Tastes sweet with little bitterness. Thin bodied, sweet finish.

Tap at Gar Eden. Wheaty and fruity aroma. Smells boozier than it is. Apricot. Taste is nicer, light spice, that boozy fruity thing again. Hint of Bloody Mary! Weird.

From the bottle, at Ghetto46, Verucchio, Italy. Pours pale gold with abundant head. Aroma send out lots of yeast, giving citrus (lemon). Body is medium. Taste is more sweet, but with but not such a great finish.
