Considering the batch I had is # 257 and was made with simcoe, cascade and willamette I’d say it is time to merge these... 9.5% A deep orange brown with a thick soapy head of foam like bubble bath. The aroma is candyish, caramel and pine. Boozy, caramel, candy and mildly fruity hop notes then pine. Earthy with sweetness and decent hopping, still good but it’s obviously past its best... it was a year old.

Keg at St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, peach, orange on the nose. Tastes pretty much the the same, rich, hoppy, tropical fruit, peach and bitter orange. Quite a bitter finish but still very good.

Keg at BD Clerko, 11/02/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a big ole off white head. Nose is light pine, juicy hop rinse, candied fruit peel, bitter orange. Taste comprises sticky nectarine, orange pith, light mineral shavings, juicy tropicana soaked straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with semi aggressive hop bitterness and a light mineral chase. Decent DIPA.

Brewdog Clerkenwell. Keg. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with decent fine carbonation. Creamy sweet malts. Mild orange hop, hop spice and and then a spicy floralness. Resinous tropical fruits before a smooth and semi dry finish. Pretty drinkable.

Keg at BrewDog Clerkenwell. It pours cloudy orange with a thick white head. The aroma is rich, bitter - sweet, woody, oily, candied fruits, booze, peach and some dank grassy notes. The taste is rich, oily, bitter - sweet, peach, tangerine, peach, wood, boosty alcohol, grass, light herbals notes, peppery spice and grapefruit with a slick finish. Medium - full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rather nice aroma, but I find it a bit hot. Good fun anyhow!
