Shared bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 18.04.17. Clear golden. Not much head. Aroma of ripe fruits. Similar taste, with citrus and refreshing dryness. Complex.

Fra flaske på RBHD-samling hos Odd Gunnar, april-17: nok en øl som Inbreak ikke liker, så det er et kvalitetsstempel. Lett uklar gylden med kort skum. Mild, fruktig aroma med honning, citron, røde bær. Tindved og tang er benyttet. Voltstyrken er forbilledlig skjult, her nyter vi hver eneste dråpe. Saftig, saftig og saftig. Life by the seaside is good.

No head, pour very dens - almost syrupy / oily. Aroma is mild sour-ish grassy, weeds, grass, winegum, citrus peel, minerals, bark, alcohol, wet cardboard, heather. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, grass, minerals, fruit stones, citrus peel, bark, paper, heather, alcohol, winegum. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

750ml bottle. Barely clear, yellow-ish golden colour with no head whatsoever, a handful of white bubbles at the bezel. Rice wine and plum wine aroma, somehow grainy fruitiness, hints of green apple and apple parings, citrusy yuzu overtones, some peppery yeasty spiciness. Taste is sweet and dry, fruity, notes of plum wine, hints of green apple, yuzu, some warming alcohol in the finish; full body, soft carbonation, soft and slightly sticky palate.

Draft @ LCBF 2015. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy weak woody earthy aroma. Fruity malty spicy earthy woody seaweed flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy finish.

Draft sample @ Oersoep Bierfest 2015, Nijmegen. Dorée claire, col léger blanc-cassé. Arôme offre de suite une influence de sake avec un bouquet agréable de riz qui offre des effluves assez conséquentes au niveau de l’alcool. Retrouve un rétro tout en finesse malgré les 13% et offrant le fruité de yuzu de par ses senteurs citronnées. Palais est épais mettant de suite en avant les 13%, le tout reste cependant plaisant avec une impression de herbacée dans la levure qui est complété par l’usage du riz et donne à la levure un profil unique et fort plaisant. Le yuzu malgré son profil léger apporte une bonne balance fruité citronnée et ajoute une once d’amertume-surette de l’argousier?

Sampled draft @ Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2015. Hazy orange, small white head. Nose hugely boozy with lots of alcohol esters, fermenting fruits, raw boozy, really in the way of hard liqueur or maybe a very raw sake. Taste is same raw sake / hard liqueur quality, huge fruit esters, boozy sweetness, Turkish fruit, caramel, citrus peel, thick malts, warming,… Thick & malty. Very unique, a bit much for me but very intense & very non-beer like in a good way. Very interesting.

tap @Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2015, afsluiter. sakebier, bleek geel/gouden met vrij beperkte witte kraag. aroma van zoet, alcohol, licht zuur, rijstewijn zeker merkbaar. Smaken zijn erg zoet( mango zoetig), alcoholisch, glas en zacht, graan, mout, erg lekker, iets kruidig karakter, ooi gebalanceerd, iets te koud en behoorlijk alcoholisch.
