Gravity dispense at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 02/04/15. Murky mahogany brown topped with a decent beige swirl. Nose is musty wood, fart, earthy, chocolate, toffee. Taste comprises roast malt, biscuit, light charr, musty, dark fruit rinds, chocolate notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid.

Draft at Craft 100 April 2015 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy, beige head. Well roasted malts in the nose, some notes of cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with rounded, dark bready malts, some earth, chocolate. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish with prominent bittersweet baking cocoa. Good beer.

Craft #100 fest at Clapham. Cask. Almost opaque dark amber - brown beer, tiny pale tan head. Palate is light and crispy. Nice condition. Mellow dark malts. Modest dark chocolate and light barrel induced vanilla. Trace of wood. Mild cherry. It all comes together in to a crisp finish. Lovely nuanced porter, head and shoulders above the cookie cutter porters that abound. Excellent.

Draught at Craft 100. It pours murky deep brown with a minimal head. The nose is earthy, dank, musty, cocoa, damp leaves, oak and some funk. The taste is bitter, earthy, roasty malt, must, barnyard, dirt, pepper, drying, coffee, cocoa, oak and leather with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Musty, wood porter action. Very interesting indeed. I like it, but donโt find it overly drinkable (unlike Kenny!).

Cask at the hanging bat. Pours hazy deep brown, nose is cheesy, toffee, chocolate, taste is quite cheesy, sulphur, awful linger. 2.3 Keg at the hanging bat, blind tasting. Pours black, nose is cheesy, roasted, meaty, taste is dry, cheesy, sulphur, chocolate. 2.7

Cask at the hanging bat, as vatted porter. Pours dark brown, thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted notes, light red wine. Taste brings all this together. Light sweet with cocoa, more roast.

Cask at the hanging bat... Dark malts.. Sweet chocolate.. Oat Roast... Soft sweet fruits roast.. Dry roast.. Odd lactic hints... Dark roast... Ok not sure,.. Interesting.. Definitely not unpleasant.. But its failing to hit the right. Spots blind at bat ... dark brown .. thin tan head .. soft chocolate roast malt nose .. dark malts .. light bitter chocolate ... ligth fizz ... dry roasy .. light brettt funk 3.7
